soylent green

scientist develops caffeinated donuts.
Bohannon says he's developed a way to add caffeine to baked goods, without the bitter taste of caffeine. Each piece of pastry is the equivalent of about two cups of coffee.
now that's science.

  1. It's icing or glaze, so it could be on anything, not just donuts. And as it was pointed out in the article I saw, the market will probably shun it because there is more profit in selling coffee separately. Because no one will sell it, it won't be around to buy. So it'll die out.

  2. that's not very imaginative. caffeinated fude could be used to alleviate hunger in the third world. this is science!
